Not All White Chocolate Is Created Equal
White chocolate has a reputation. Too sweet. Too simple. Not “real” chocolate. And most of the time… that’s fair.
But when white chocolate is made with high-quality cacao butter, thoughtful sourcing, and gorgeous flavor inclusions? It becomes something entirely different — silky, aromatic, nuanced, and quietly luxurious.
This collection brings together three craft white chocolate bars from makers who treat cacao butter with the same respect usually reserved for dark chocolate. No waxy texture. No artificial vanilla overload. Just beautifully made white chocolate that tastes intentional.
What's Included
Oko Caribe 42% Dominican Republic Cocoa Butter White Chocolate
I'm rarely a white chocolate fan, but when I met this maker, I had to buy several. This is miles different from the over processed commercialized cocoa butter + chemical confections you find in stores. Its base is almond paste and they add subtle spices that make it unlike any white chocolate you've ever tasted.
Qantu 38% Sea Buckthorn White Chocolate
This was an unexpected favorite I found from this award-winning Montreal-based chocolate maker. Sea buckthorn has a bright, tangy flavor reminiscent of passion fruit and mango.
Saturdays White Hokkaido Pumpkin & Nibs, Raisins
(2024 Silver Asia Pacific Intl Chocolate Awards)
Ingredients: cocao butter made in Malaysia, pumpkin powder, beet sugar, whole milk powder, cocoa nibs, green raisins, salt, cinnamon. Manufactured in a facility that processes wheat, milk, eggs, almonds, and soybeans. (Check the translation if you have allergy concerns.) Best before date in 2025, but the bar is still safe to eat and perfectly delicious.
Why It Costs More Than Grocery Store Chocolate
These bars are:
-
Made in small batches
-
Sourced directly and transparently from cacao producers
-
Often limited edition and rarely available outside their country of origin
You’re paying for quality, craftsmanship, and cacao that’s been treated with respect—from farm to bar. And the good news? You don’t need to eat much to be satisfied.
A Quick Note on Ingredients & Shipping
I source top-quality chocolate from around the world, many of which are limited release or difficult to find outside their home country. Please see individual packaging for ingredients and allergen information. (I've used Google translate, so double check the translation if you have ingredient concerns.)
Disclaimer: These are unopened products purchased directly from the manufacturers. While I store and ship chocolate at appropriate temperatures, I do not personally guarantee the quality of each individual bar. (I typically sample the chocolate before purchasing multiple bars).
I do everything I can to ensure your chocolate arrives in great condition. If you notice any whitish discoloration, this is sugar bloom, caused by temperature or humidity changes. It may affect texture but not flavor.
Due to the sensitive nature of chocolate, all sales are final and returns are not accepted.
